EASTER AND LENT

the question "What are you giving up?" Give up means "dejar de
hacer", "renunciar".
Easter is the most important
Christian holiday that celebrates the resurrection
of Jesus Christ.
Lent is a time of preparation
for Easter. Christians think of the forty days of Lent as an opportunity to
change their daily lives and become closer to God.
Example: This year, for Lent, I´m giving up playing computer games.
